SATURDAY MORNINGS 7:00AM-12:00PM

91X is the only local station to produce programming aimed at the large 50+ population in the Quinte area. From Big Bands to the hits of the 50's and 60's it's all on Saturday mornings at 91.3FM.

The morning starts off with "Time of Your Life" at 7:00am, a two-hour program of music from the big band/swing era along with popular music from the 30's to the 60's. It's blended with information on local happenings, weather, as well as human interest stories and humourous anecdotes.

"Big Band Saturday" follows at 9:00am. Host Andy Sparling, a local broadcaster who's also an accomplished musician and member of a number of local bands, brings you an hour of the greatest big band and swing sounds of all time. Plus, information on the personalities who made these musical memories.

"Journey" at 10:00am is hosted by well-known local broadcaster John Henderson. He features an eclectic mix of tunes ranging anywhere from the 30's to the 60's along with a number of interesting and entertaining features.

"Remember When" rounds out the morning at 11:00am. Bill Huffman undoubtedly has the largest record collection of 50's and 60's (and beyond) music in the area and each week he share some of his gems with you. Each show has a theme, be it a particular year, artist, era or style of music. Bill also has the stories behind the music that changed the face of entertainment forever.
